For individuals, PaywithAccount makes it much easier to schedule regular payments once, and forget about it. No stress of having to remember every time and deal with the hassles of difficult payment methods.

A subscription is a recurring payment schedule that has been set up on an account. Subscriptions cannot be placed on a customer’s bank account without their consent.

As an individual, to set up recurring payments effortlessly, simply use the dedicated USSD code of the organization you want to make payments to. It looks like the below:

*7006*31*{biller_code}# (compatible with any network)

The {biller_code} will be communicated by the organisation. For example, to set up payments for data bundles, try *7006*31*000003#.

Simply dial this code and follow the prompts according to your preferred option. With this code, you can conveniently authorise automatic debits from your accounts.


Yes, you can easily link your account for payments. Here's how:

  1. Locate the email/SMS notification prompting you to link your account for payments, and click on the link provided in the email/SMS.
  2. Clicking the link will direct you to the Mandate Activation page. Here, you'll find clear instructions on how to proceed.
  3. Follow the instructions to transfer a small amount (₦100) to the NIBSS activation account. This step is crucial for activating the mandate. It proves your ownership of the account you are trying to link.
  4. After transferring the amount, click on the "I have made the transfer" button. This action will confirm your payment and initiate the mandate activation process.
  5. As the final step, you'll be prompted to create a PIN to protect your account and manage your future subscriptions. This PIN is also an added layer of security and will be required to log in to the app. DO NOT SHARE THIS PIN WITH ANYONE.

You can easily view all active subscriptions on your account. Here's how:

  1. Navigate to to log in.
  2. Input your phone number and PIN.
  3. After logging in successfully, you'll be directed to the dashboard. 
  4. On the sidebar, you can access the Subscription tab to access a comprehensive list of all your active subscriptions.

Yes, you can revoke your consent to a biller's subscription on your account. This would cancel any payments that have been set up on your account to that organsation. Here's how:

  1. Log in to with your phone number and PIN.
  2. Locate the organisation you want to revoke consent for.
  3. Navigate to the action button next to the organisation name and click the "Cancel Subscription" button.

A notification will be sent to the organisation concerning your request to withdraw consent for payments, and you will receive a confirmation email once your consent has been revoked.

Payments from your account to the organisation will stop immediately.
